You Are Not Behind; You Are Being Prepared

You looked at your life and compared it to someone else's timeline. Their promotion. Their relationship. Their answered prayer. Their breakthrough. And somewhere in that comparison, something inside you whispered, "Why not me?" Why is it taking so long? Did

I miss it?

You did not miss it. You are not behind. You are being prepared. That is it!

The Pressure of Other People's Timelines

Social media has made it easy to feel like everyone else is moving forward while you are standing still. Someone is getting married. Someone is buying a house. Someone just launched their business. Someone's prayer got answered, and you are still waiting on yours.

But here is what social media never shows you: the years of waiting that came before the breakthrough. The tears behind the testimony. The closed doors before the open ones. The preparation season looked like nothing was happening, but everything was being arranged.

You are not watching the full story. You are seeing someone else's highlight reel and comparing it to your behind-the-scenes.

Here is something nobody talks about: preparation seasons are quiet. They are uncomfortable. They feel like a delay, but they are actually development.

Think about a seed. When it is planted in the ground, nobody can see what is happening. From the outside, it looks like nothing. But underground roots are forming, strength is being built, and everything necessary for growth is taking place in the dark.

You are in a rut season. Do not despise it. The deeper the roots grow, the stronger the tree stands when it finally breaks through the ground.

What God Is Doing While You Wait

While you are waiting, God is

Removing what is not meant for your next season. People, habits, mindsets, and situations that would not survive where He is taking you are being cleared out right now. What feels like loss is actually preparation.

Building your character to carry what is coming. A blessing that arrives before you are ready to hold it will not last. God is not withholding from you; He is developing you so that when it comes, you can sustain it.

Aligning things you cannot see yet. Appointments, connections, opportunities, and open doors are being arranged on your behalf right now. What looks like a delay from where you stand looks like a divine setup from where God stands.

Testing your trust. The waiting room is not a punishment; it is the place where faith is built. Anyone can trust God when things are going well. The woman who trusts Him in the waiting is the one He can use in the extraordinary.

To build with someone is to have them know the version of you that had nothing. The struggle becomes history. But that’s a bond you can’t create later. And it means you’re both guessing. If one person
