Living Proof of God's Grace
I’m 53 years old and blessed to call Atlanta home. I’ve been married for many wonderful years, and together my husband and I have raised five amazing children who have given us the joy of eight beautiful grandchildren. I grew up as a preacher’s kid, learning about faith from an early age, though life would test that faith in ways I could never have imagined.
I’m a survivor of mental, physical, and sexual abuse, and I became a mother at just 15 years old. Those experiences could have broken me, but instead, they taught me resilience and the power of grace. For 26 years, I’ve worked hard at my job while quietly wrestling with my struggles: with low self-esteem, overthinking, and people-pleasing. Yet, I’m learning to release those patterns and give myself the same grace I offer to others.
My inspiration often comes in life’s simplest moments: the giggles of my grandchildren, the warmth of a Sunday family dinner, or the quiet prayers whispered when no one else is around. My journey hasn’t been easy, but every challenge and blessing have deepened my faith, strengthened my spirit, and opened my heart to the beauty God weaves into every season of life.
I’m not who I used to be. I’m an overcomer, a believer in Jesus Christ, and a woman committed to growing every day. This space is my way of sharing the stories, reflections, and encouragement that have shaped me.
