Leading with Prayer, Positivity and Love

Living Proof of God's Grace

I’m 54 years old and blessed to call Atlanta home. I’ve been married for many years, and together my husband and I have raised five incredible children who have now blessed us with eight beautiful grandchildren. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother is one of my greatest joys.

I grew up as a preacher’s kid, learning about faith from an early age. I knew the scriptures. I knew the prayers. But life has a way of testing what you know. And my faith would be stretched in ways I never imagined.

I’ve survived mental, physical, and sexual abuse. I became a mother at just 16 years old. I’ve walked through heartbreak and experienced the worst kind of betrayal the kind that shakes your trust, your identity, and even your understanding of love. There were moments when I questioned everything. Moments when I wondered how I would stand again.

But God.

Those experiences could have destroyed me, but instead, they shaped me. They taught me resilience. They taught me discernment. They taught me that grace isn’t just something we talk about; it's something we cling to when we can barely breathe.

For 26 years, I’ve worked faithfully at my job while quietly fighting internal battles with low self-esteem, overthinking, people-pleasing, and the pressure to hold everything together. For a long time, I gave everyone else grace except myself. Now, I’m learning to release what no longer serves me and extend that same grace inward.

My inspiration comes in the simplest moments, hearing my grandchildren laugh, sitting at a family gathering, or whispering prayers when no one else can hear. Those quiet conversations with God have carried me through some of my darkest nights.

My journey hasn’t been easy. It’s been messy. It’s been painful. It’s been refining. But every trial and every blessing has strengthened my faith and reminded me that God wastes nothing. He uses every tear, every setback, and every betrayal to build something stronger within us.

I am not who I used to be.

I am an overcomer.
I am a believer in Jesus Christ.
I am a woman still growing, still healing, still becoming.

This space is my heart. It’s where I share encouragement, reflection, and prayer from someone who has walked through the fire and come out with deeper faith.

If you’ve been hurt…
If you’ve been betrayed…
If you’ve questioned your worth…

Please know this: God is still listening. You are not disqualified. You are not forgotten. And with prayer, faith, love, and perseverance, joy can return—even after the worst seasons of your life.

Faith, Family, and the Lessons in Between

Life has a funny way of leading us exactly where we need to be. Looking back at my journey, I see a map marked with challenges I didn't expect and blessings I didn't yet know how to ask for.

The core of my story? Raising five children at a young age. It was a beautiful chaos. Today, they are grown and forging their own paths. Watching them "figure it out" is one of my greatest joys. In many ways, they were my greatest teachers and mentors in unconditional love, forgiveness, and wonder. My daily prayer is that God continues to strengthen the bridge between us.

A Foundation of Twenty-Five Years

This journey started twenty-five years ago with a simple connection at work. Twenty-three years of marriage later, that spark has matured into a steady flame. We’ve faced the rough spots and celebrated the wins, but our constant has always been prayer. By leaning on God’s steady hand, we’ve woven a life defined by resilience and grace.

We are ready for whatever comes next, and we want you to walk with us.

Join the Conversation: Every journey deserves respect. What is your "survival kit" for the tough days? Is it art? Prayer? A quiet moment of reflection? Let’s share our stories and grow together.
