God showed me that forgiveness is about obedience, not reconnection. I can release what hurt me without reopening the door to it. When someone keeps wounding you, that’s a reflection of them peace comes from paying attention the first time.
You can forgive and still keep it moving. Pain has a way of revealing people clearly, and wisdom is choosing not to put yourself back in the same place twice.
